Wolf
Choose your partner. Or go it alone.
The Basics
One player is the Wolf each hole (rotating). After watching each player tee off, the Wolf picks a partner for that hole — or goes "Lone Wolf" against the other three.
How to Play
Tee order rotates. The Wolf watches each player tee off in order and can claim any player as their partner immediately after their shot — but before the next player hits. If the Wolf doesn't pick anyone, they play alone (Lone Wolf) for double points. The Wolf and partner vs. the other two. Best ball decides the hole.
Scoring
Wolf + partner win = 1 point each. Other team wins = 1 point each. Lone Wolf wins = 2 points. Lone Wolf loses = other three get 1 point each.

Strategy Tips
Going Lone Wolf is a power move — high risk, high reward. Read the tee shots. If your best friend stripes one and the Wolf doesn't pick them, they're playing against you.
Variations
"Blind Wolf" — declare Lone Wolf before anyone tees off for 3x points. Point values vary by group.
